We are now experiencing run off conditions that typically last through Memorial Day. One bonus is that the Salmonfly hatch is during this time starting up high from the Colorado border to Prospect Creek access area. Big Stonefly nymph patterns like the Pats rubberlegs,Double bead peacock,and halfbacks produce nice trout in off color water. Fishing big articulated streamers will also pull big fish off the banks and in slower water in tail outs and pools.
